The article describes the practical and technical properties of pipes, sections and connectors made of PE. For the purpose of the study, the following tests were selected: oxidation induction time, internal pressure strength, tensile strength and elongation at break, impact tensile strength, abrasive strength. The results indicate that in pipe applications, PE 100 has far superior strength properties than other PE grades.
