The paper refers to some problems of the EETS interoperability, which is a longterm objective of the EC and based on the directive 2004/52/EC. Interoperability and creating this type system architecture is an open framework in Europe, which enables technical, procedural, contractual level and initializing of projects in European Union. EETS technical architecture was built on CESARE model, defines the technical detail of the interfaces for road charging system that corresponds to the interfaces between the business entities that together operate the service: the Toll Charger, the Toll Service Provider and the Service User.

W referacie przedstawiono wybrane problemy interoperacyjności europejskiej usługi opłaty elektronicznej, która jest celem długofalowym KE i opiera się na dyrektywie 2004/52/WE. Interoperacyjność oraz budowa architektury tego typu systemu, powoduje konieczność opracowania norm w zakresie rozwiązań technicznych, proceduralnych, jak równieS realizacji kontraktów oraz projektów unijnych. Techniczna architektura EETS została zbudowana na podstawie modelu CESARE, w skład której wchodzą cztery elementy: zarządzający interoperacyjnością, operator opłat, usługodawca oraz usługobiorca europejskiej opłaty elektronicznej.
