Artykuł powstał podczas pracy badawczej, której tematyka obejmuje modelowanie transmisji danych zgodne z założeniami systemu e–nawigacji. Autor opisuje możliwości adaptacji rozwiązań definiowanych jako tak zwana rzeczywistość rozszerzona do nowo powstającego systemu. E-nawigacja w swych założeniach ma być systemem wspomagającym zarządzanie informacją w nawigacji i szeroko pojętym transporcie morskim. Z kolei rzeczywistość rozszerzona jest formą prezentacji informacji, która ułatwia interpretację i dostęp do danych. Badania nad możliwościami wykorzystania rozwiązań rzeczywistości rozszerzonej w e-nawigacji i korzyści z tego płynące stały się tematem tego artykułu.

The article is an effect of works on the project, which subject is the modeling of the data transmission consistent with the objectives of the e–Navigation system. Author describes the possibilities of adaptation of solutions defined as Augmented Reality to the emerging system. e-Navigation in its assumptions would be a system supporting information management for navigation and the maritime transport. In turn, Augmented Reality is a form of presentation of information that facilitates interpretation and access to information. Studies on the possible use of augmented reality solutions in e-navigation and benefits incoming from this became the focus of this article.
