In the elaborated text the insurance guarantee and the functioning mechanism of it are presented. It is executed by the approximation of insurance guarantee essence. Next, the general classification of insurance guarantees is described. The further part presents the functioning mechanism of insurance guarantee from its beginning to the guarantee obligation payment. Besides the paper contains the procedure of insurance guarantee giving in an insurance company.
