I the article there was presented one of financing forms of enterprises activity, pointing at the same time the peculiarity of shipyard production, which requires both a well-known source of foreign capital and means coming from public aid. Legal conditions imposed by the European Union restrict possibilities of the State to grant the aid for enterprises for tear of an unequal competition on the market. They allow, however, in case of enterprises having a strategic meaning for the economy, including production shipyards, making use of subject aid form. There was presented a scale of public aid granted in the past years and planned for the nearest years, but stipulating that in subject issue the European Commission must express the opinion, which confirms Tightness of specific means granted.
