In this article we have presented the requirements of conducting a proper economic analysis of commercial bank. In an intricate condition of bank management system and its responsibility before shareholders for accomplished effects the problem of criterion for estimation of banks' activities has got a special meaning. This estimation is available thanks to methods used in financial analysis. The analysis of financial condition of bank is a source of information necessary to make a proper economic decision both by management as well as by outer recipients of information (bank supervision, investors, clients). It also enables to establish any changes in financial condition of bank and in the range of management effectiveness, projectrons for the future situation and adjustment to the changes on the market. The main goal of analysis of financial bank condition is its estimation and estimation of financial safety.
