EN

The aim of this work is presenting a computer - based system for playing multichannel source material over stereo headphones. The system uses convolution techniques to process source input material with HRIR functions. A standard set of HRIR functions recorded in anechoic chamber was used. The described system was tested employing an expert group to examine the degree of localisation accuracy. Statistically processed results are shown.
