The technology and basic critical parameters of YBa2Cu30x samples have been presented. The acoustic emission (AE) pulses were measured as a function of temperature and in dependence of cooling rate during last stage of material preparation. It was confirmed that the acoustic emission occurs during sample cooling in the temperature measuring range from 900 to 200 °C. The most intense AE rate was observed in 640-580 °C range. At the same condition the maximum oxygen absorption and structural transition takes place. The investigations point out that AE technique can be very convenient tool for diagnostics and control of preparation process of ceramic YBa2Cu30x superconducting materials.
