The paper contains Finite Element Analysis attempt to temperature filed distribution. Mathematical description of phenomena occurring in SLS made it possible to prepare model of powder surface temperature field distribution by ANSYS FEA system. The data obtained from this analysis is very helpful for SLS new powders testing and developing. Modeling gives easy to interpretation plots, that are very useful for proper process parameter set apply. The FEA modeling was prepared for Ti two different size radius spherical powder particles. There were given some ways of process control via chosen physical and geometrical parameters in order to obtain optimal effect on produced parts.
