This paper presents the initial analyses of accuracy tests and model surface quality as generated in a 3D Printing process. Testing was on the Z400 device produced by Z-Corporation. The models analysed were cuboid in shape, and were examined in different orientations. The following research results are presented: deviations from base dimensions (external and internal dimensions); surface roughness after production and also after surface grinding and varnishing.
