Badaniami objęto powietrze atmosferyczne w Krakowie-Nowej Hucie. Przedstawione wyniki wskazują na znaczną koncentrację zarodników grzybów w powietrzu zwłaszcza w okresie lata - 9703,6 komórek/m3. Najczęściej są reprezentowane grzyby z następujących rodzajów: Pencillium, Alternaria i Aspergillus. Zanieczyszczenie pyłowe było w okresie lata najmniejsze, a wzrost stężenia pyłu zawieszonego w powietrzu zaobserwowano w okresie jesienno-zimowym, gdy rozpoczyna się sezon grzewczy.

The examinations covered the atmospheric air at Nowa Huta in Cracow. The results presented indicate a considerable concentration of fungi spores in the air, especially in the summer season - 9703,6 cells/m3. In the air the fungi from the genus of Cladosporium were most often represented with the maximum in July - 93,5%. Further fungi of the following genera: Pencillium, Alternaria and Aspergillus were isolated. The dust pollution was the smallest in the summer time, and an increase in the concentration of the dust suspended in the air was observed in the autumn-winter period when the season of heating started.
