This paper presents the issues of multi-criteria electricity flow optimization in energy-saving "smart buildings". It also presents a detailed model for forecasting the demand for electricity based on the traditional first-order gray prediction model, which is called GM model for a genetic algorithm and discusses some of the aspects of energy efficiency for "intelligent buildings". In this paper, a method based on a genetic algorithm optimizing the gray modelling GM process is proposed. This method makes fuli use of the advantages of the gray prediction model and the characteristics of genetic algorithms to fmd global optimization. The GM prediction model is widely used and in some areas has led to remarkable achievements.
