The range of wireless networks in buildings

Abstrakty

This paper presents primary propagation model recommended by the ITU organization (ITU-R P. 1238.6) used to determine the radio signal attenuation in the buildings. This model is used to calculate the signal level at the input of exemplary WiFi receiver, which allowed :o determine the the maximum speed of the network. Performed analysis were compared with the usual method for determining coverage of WiFi networks known as "2 floors, 3 walls."
