Abstrakty
In 1948 Darken has shown that lattice site are not con served during diffusion process in solids. The resulting evolution of the under standing of the mass transport phenomena in solids and liquids al lowed in te grating the phenomenological models. In this work the proper choice of the coordinate axes for diffusion is defined basing on the volume continuity equation and the method of practical applications in the multiphase systems is shown. This new fundamental formula defines the volume-fixed frame of reference in the multicomponent solid, gas and liquid solutions. It will be shown that the method can be used in chemistry and mechano-chemistry.
