In the paper an original turning and burnishing machine TUR 50 CNC-N having ability of processing shaft and valves length up to 1700 mm and diameter up to 90 mm has been presented. The dependence of surface roughness and increase in surface hardness on process parameters (burnishing force, feed, radius of rollers) was experimentally established and discussed.
