Development of the small high-speed oil engines is connected with a creation of energy-saving units, that meet requirements of official certification as concerns cleanliness of exhaust gases and noise level as well. These criteria were strongly tighttened lately, since the compression-ignition engines had dominated in the delivery vans and often and often are also used in motor-cars. In this article are presented some ecological criteria in the light of the latest requirements for small high-speed oil engines. The register of those criteria has required many years lasting own research and wide range of studies too. Results of experimental investigations performed by the author relate to an influence of injection angle on chosen ecological parameters, and they determine a relationship between rotational speed and load of the engine. Specific values or ranges of change of chosen parameters can be to assignment for discussion.
