Abstrakty
In the first part of the paper the authors described the characteristic features and theoretical possibilities of the smart materiał usage. In the second part there is presented research carried out on the material of the SMA type. The research was carried out on three beams made of three different materials with NiTi wires immersed. The experiment performed in such a way aimed at proving that the NiTi usage results in reduction of beam natural frequencies.
