EN
Selected examples of resorcinarenes are described, concerning their syntheses and reactivity. Formation of complexes, host-guest systems and capsules is also presented along with their possible applications. Ashort comment concerning pyrogalloarenes is added. In the paper references are cited of works that appeared during the years 1998-2003.
