EN

Glass roofs are commonly used in all types of public buildings. According to Polish Technical Regulation, roof windows and skylights have to meet the requirement of the maximum value of thermal performance. The greatest difficulty in checking the compliance of glass roofs is the lack of standardized assessment method for determination of their thermal quality. The article contains proposals for the methodology especially taking into account the thermal performance of glass units depending on heat flow direction.
