Durability of the material is the ability to maintain satisfactory technical and aesthetic properties, safety of operation under certain prescribed conditions of use and during use without the need for additional security. Building materials are exposed to many damaging factors such as temperature, humidity, static and dynamic loads, chemical and biological aggression. Speaking about the durability of masonry structures to reflect on what material to choose and what will be operated under construction. The article shows what the requirements are placed on masonry constructions in accordance with the requirements of Eurocode 6.
