The problem of watertightness of structural lightweight concrete with sintered fly ash aggregate was discussed in this paper. Both, lightweight concretes of different strength (form 42 up to 53 MPa) and density (from1580 kg/m3 do 1710 kg/m3), and cement mortars, being matrixes for made concretes, were subjected to tests of depth of penetration of water under pressure. The obtained test results showed that in spite of considerable water absorption of used sintered fly ash aggregate, tested lightweight concretes were characterised by relatively low depth of penetration of water under pressure (from 23 up to 31 mm).
