EN
The effect of polymer modifiers - introduced into the concrete as the admixtures or additives - on durability of concrete has been discussed. The concept of concrete durability has been presented, including the legal activity of European Union in the range of construction. The set of technical properties of concrete, important for durability of prognosis, has been proposed. A classification of concrete-polymer composites has been given. The influence of polymer on concrete properties important for its durability has been described, with distinction into admixtures and additives effects. Some conclusions on possible directions of polymer modifiers influence on concrete durability have been formulated on the base of carried out considerations. The research needs in that range have also been specified.

Badano wpływ polimerów, wprowadzanych do betonów w postaci domieszek i dodatków, na trwałość betonów. Omówiono pojęcie trwałości betonu oraz działalność legislacyjną w tym zakresie prowadzoną w Unii Europejskiej. Zaproponowano zespół własności technicznych betonu ważnych dla prognozowania trwałości. Przedstawiono klasyfikację kompozytów betonowo-polimerowych. Opisano wpływ polimerów na własności betonu istotne dla jego trwałości, odróżniając działanie domieszek i dodatków. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych rozważań sformułowano wnioski dotyczące możliwych kierunków wpływania polimerów na trwałość betonów. Zwrócono uwagę na potrzebę dalszych badań w tej dziedzinie.
