Podano założenia i zasady określania długości obliczeniowej słupów wg EC2 oraz porównano je z zaleceniami PrPN-B-03264. Podjęto próbę oszacowania wpływu niedokładności określenia sztywności względnej węzłów na tę długość.

The paper gives basic assumptions and presents the method of determining the effective length for columns according to EC2, and gives comparison with PrPN-B-03264 regulations. The effort has been made to estimate the influence of inaccuracy of determining the relative stiffness of joints (K) onto effective length factor (ß), as well as the influence of underestimation of the effective column lenght onto column capacity presented in numerical example.
