Lean manufacturing of AAC will be highlighted as a obligation in the modern building materials industry. Crises, lower building volume, overcapacity and calls for sustainability forced the industry to create with new application ideas, higher product quality, greater efficiency and lower manufacturing costs. A review of recent developments in technology and techniques will be presented and the green AAC plant heading to zero waste is introduced.
