Zbadano podawanie zmielonego wapienia bezpośrednio do strefy spiekania pieca obrotowego, pracującego metodą mokrą. Jakość i uziarnienie klinkieru wyprodukowanego tą metodą były bardzo dobre, a jego mikrostruktura była prawidłowa i składała się z drobnych kryształów alitu. Stanowi to dowód, że wapień, podawany do strefy spiekania, przereagował całkowicie z warstwą znajdującego się w piecu klinkieru. Jakość cementu otrzymana z tego klinkieru była także bardzo dobra.

The direct feeding of the ground limestone into the wet cement kiln was examined. The clinker grading and quality, produced in these conditions, was very good and its microstructure was correct, composed of small alite crystals. There are the proofs that the limestone fed to sintering zone has fully reacted with clinker layer in the kiln. The quality of cement produced from this clinker was also good.
