This paper describes a method of obtaining as well as selected properties of epoxy mortars. The addition of poly(ethylene terephtalate) hydrolysate (PET) as a modifier of epoxy resins (EP) resulted in an improvement in selected properties of the mortars in comparison with the properties of mortars based on unmodified resins. The application of PET waste materials in the modification of polymeric binders in mortars is also advantageous for economical and ecological reasons.
