EN

Flat corrugated metal sheets can be used to build straight-lined shells. Such shells are made of sheets freely and elastically twised or bended during their assembly. Knowledge how big single freely deformation of sheet is necessary for designing of such shells is of main importance for shaping of shells. Research on freely twisted corrugated metal sheets is organised at the Department of Buildings Structures of Rzeszów Uniwersity of Technology. Finite Element Analysis and ADINA program were applied in the research. This paper shows relations between angle of torsion and stress in flanges and webs for corrugated metal sheets T55.
