W latach 90. modnym sposobem realizacji przedsięwzięć budowlanych stał się partnering, szczególnie popularyzowany w USA, Wielkiej Brytanii czy Australii. Partnering jest koncepcją realizacji przedsięwzięcia, w której z założenia relacja między inwestorem a wykonawcą oparta jest na zaufaniu, dążeniu do osiągnięcia wspólnych celów i zrozumieniu indywidualnych oczekiwań każdego z nich. Zaprezentowano definicję i rodzaje współpracy partnerskiej oraz polski przykład nawiązanej, skutecznej współpracy partnerskiej. Ponieważ przedstawiony przykład to przedsięwzięcie budowlane realizowane w sektorze prywatnym, artykuł nie nawiązuje do obowiązującej w Polsce ustawy o Partnerstwie publiczno-prywatnym.

In the 1990s "partnering" became a fashionable way of carrying out building projects, particularly widespread in the US, the UK and Australia. Partnering is a project realization concept which assumes that the relation between investor and contractor is based on trust, a striving to achieve common goals and understanding of the individual expectations of each side. The paper presents a definition and some types of partnering, as well as a Polish example of effective established partnering. Because the example given is a building project carried out in the private sector, the paper does not make reference to Poland's Public-Private Partnership Act.
