Omówiono zagadnienia związane z projektowaniem przekryć, a w szczególności ukształtowanie i konstrukcje przekryć oraz działające na nie obciążenia. Rozwiązania konstrukcyjne oraz technologię wykonania przekryć o konstrukcji pierścieniowo-linowej przedstawiono na przykładach stadionów: Olimpijskiego w Rzymie, w Busan (Korea Południowa), w Doha (Katar), Commerzbank Arena we Frankfurcie oraz w Incheon (Korea Południowa).

Problems concerned with design of roofs, and especially form-shaping, structural detailing and actions on them, are presented. Structural solutions and execution methodologies of ring-cable roofs are summarized taking into account the examples of the following stadia: Olympic in Rome, in Busan (North Korea), in Doha (Qatar), Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt and in Incheon (South Korea).
