The importance of spontaneous shrinkage in concrete structures
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
In concretes with a Iow water-binder ratio, spontaneous shrinkage is observed to have a greater negative effect than in ordinary concretes. Based on data from the literature and the authors' own research, attention is drawn to difficulties in the design and building of structures made of concretes with a Iow water-binder ratio, resulting from the lack of a uniform description of the mechanism of shrinkage.
