Przedstawiono ogólnie niektóre zagadnienia wpływu budownictwa na środowiskowe aspekty tzw. zrównoważonego rozwoju. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na korzyści wynikające z nowoczesnej prefabrykacji betonowej. Podkreślono, że w niedalekiej przyszłości w procesie projektowania budowlanego będzie konieczne silnie uwzgędnianie nie tylko ekonomicznych kwestii wznoszenia budynków, ale także problemów wpływu na środowisko w całym okresie istnienia - od wybudowania, utrzymania i remontów, aż po rozbiórkę i recykling.

Some problems of the impact of building activity on environmental aspects of sustainable development are generally presented. Particular attention has been paid to benefits resulting from the modern concrete prefabrication. It has been emphasized that in the nearest future the building design procedure should strongly take into account not only economical issues of building erection but also environmental problems of full lifetime of buildings - from construction, maintenance and repairs, up to demolition and recycling.
