The paper presents large displacement stability analysis of an open bilayered conical shell loaded by longitudinal forces and uniformly distributed external pressure. The physical relations used in the elastic-plastic analysis are those of Nadai-Hencky deformation theory of plasticity. The virtual work principle is the basis to derive the strain energy expression, and the analysis is based on the energy minimization, where the total strain epsilon in the shell can be expressed in terms of reference surface strains and changes in curvature and these reference surface quantities can then be expressed in terms of displacement vector components. The Ritz method is accepted in order to derive the stability equations for the considered shell. The final form of stability equation, being a nonlinear function of the deflection function parameter, makes possible to trace the equilibrium paths for the shell under consideration. An iterative computer algorithm was elaborated to analyze the shells in elastic, elastic-plastic or in totally plastic prebuckling stale of stress.
W pracy przedstawiono analizę dużych przemieszczeń i stateczności otwartej dwuwarstwowej powłoki stożkowej obciążonej równomiernie rozłożonymi siłami wzdłużnymi i poprzecznym ciśnieniem. Przyjęte związki konstytutywne odpowiadają deformacyjnej teorii plastyczności Nadaia-Henckyego. Podstawowe równania stateczności wyprowadzono na drodze energetycznej, wykorzystując zasadę minimum energii odkształcenia powłoki, gdzie składowe odkształcenia w powłoce wyrażono za pomocą odkształceń i zmian krzywizn jej powierzchni podstawowej i składowych wektora przemieszczenia. W celu uzyskania równań stateczności zastosowano metodę Ritza. Końcowa postać równania stateczności, będącego nieliniową funkcją parametru funkcji ugięcia, umożliwia analizę ścieżek równowagi dla rozważanej powłoki. Opracowano iteracyjny algorytm komputerowy obliczeń numerycznych umożliwiający analizę powłok znajdujących się w sprężysto-plastycznym lub całkowicie plastycznym stanie naprężeń przed utratą stateczności.
