EN

Qualitative analysis deals with statistical characteristics of variables that having usually values of descriptive form. These values are known as classification categories. The analysis is based on a cross-classification table also called a contingency table. The paper presents the application of qualitative analysis to the safety research of high risk road sections. In order to investigate the existance of any association between qualitative features, hypotheses of no association are tested in relation to general association and detailed association.

W analizie jakościowej mamy do czynienia z charakterystykami statystycznymi zmiennych, które mają wartości wyrażone zwykle w formie opisowej. Wartości te są znane pod nazwą kategorii klasyfikacji. Analiza jest oparta na tablicach wielodzielnych, zwanych również tablicami współzależności cechy. Praca przedstawia zastosowanie analizy jakościowej w badaniach bezpieczeństwa na odcinkach wysokiego ryzyka na drogach. W celu zbadania istnienia jakiegokolwiek związku między charakterystykami jakościowymi, badane są hipotezy braku powiązań związku ogólnego i związków szczegółowych.
