Durability of the repaired building structures is a complicated and difficult problem.This is also important from the practical point of view.S set of requirements, which should be met for ensuring the efficiency of the concrete structure repair in the durability aspect, has been proposed.The requirements concern the repair method, including the proper diagnosis of the state of the object, as well as the used materials. A concept of categorization of the requirements has been presented. The compliance with the basic requirements is the necessary condition of the durable repair, while the additional requirements are - together with the basic requirements - the sufficient one.The particularly significant is the compatibility rule - the requirement of the good cooperation between the repair material and the repaired substrate. The basic requirements on the durability of the repaired structure are the consequence of this rule.
