Abstrakty

EN

The problem of strengthening the historical buildings requires detailed recognition of structural elements with taking into account their architectional and historical values and environmental conditions with its influence on the existing bearing structures' elements. The paper gives examples of false recognition of structure, changes made in well-prepared project of strengthening that led to failure of building. There has also been presented the example of unappropriate reparation execution as to the preservation question, where almost all elements of historical building were exchanged. The attention has been paid to the fact that the introduction of new structures' elements and exchange of old elements into new ones leads to the lack of historical building authenticity.
