Abstrakty

EN

The effect of various components of alloys on mechanical and welding properties of steel has been discussed. Steels used for building structures on the turn of the 19th century and in the first halft of the 20th century have been characterized. A method of determining the current mechanical propertis of old structural steels is analyzed and some recomendations related to points and technique for taking samples from old building structures being modrnized are given.
