An attempt has been made to show a complex process of forming institutions of banks in to show a complex process of forming sites of banking houses, both historical and modern ones. The earliest stages in the development of banks in dern ones. The back, showing the importance of their formation for the progress in urbanization of the city. Monumental and solid architecture give a guarante of the power and strengh of these institutions. The architecture of the modern buildings of banks still refers to tradition, adhering to a principle that prosperity of such institutions depends on it. The historical and moder banks are situated in the centre of . The historical and moder banks are north-south (Kociuszko Ave. and Piotrkowska Str.), which adds up to the attractiveness of the city.
