Finite time thermodnamics introduces the time into thermostatics using "equilibrium stste variables as functions of time. However, introducing the time into a static theory arises some conceptual difficulties. We need to reinterpret and formulate "equilibrium thermodynamics" as a dynamic theory, formulate a dynamical law, prescribe some requirements on the dynamical quantities, etc.. This has been done by "ordinary thermodynamics" and can be a theoretical background to any "finite time" or "endoreversible" calculation.
