The author proposes an analysis of an unknown plan of the Augustinian Monastery in Wieluń, found in an eighteenth-century copybook of monastic documents, The Augustinians (OESA) appeared in Wieluń due to a foundation by Kazimierz the Great (about 1350). The construction of the Corpus Christi monastery and church was probably initiated within the range of the municipal fortifications. The hundred-year long development was interrupted in 1457 by the invasion by Duke Janusz of Oświęcim, who ravaged the town, destroyed the church and monastery, and slaughtered the monks. For several decades, the ruins remained abandoned until the friars returned in 1487 to reconstruct the buildings. Consecutive damage was incurred by a fire which raged in the town in 1631 and the Swedish invasion of 1655-1656. In the wake of those events, the monastic complex was thoroughly rebuilt. Restoration was associated with regaining the monastic property, whose part was lost most probably during the absence of the monks in 1457-1487. Documents connected with the restitution of the estates, and collected in the aforementioned copybook, include the analysed plan. The titular plan presents the land in the possession of the Augustinian monks after the recovery of their property in the mid-seventeenth century.
