Abstrakty
Barcelona occupies a position of special interests in the history of urban planning. First because of the extension of the city planed by Ildefonso Cerda in XIX century and secondly preservation of medieval urban structures in the city center. The article describes 5 visions of Barcelona development between 1830-1860. Each of the projects shows a different vision of the modern city. There are a different ways of modeling urban structures in reference to these 5 examples and spatial movements in XIX century. Moreover the article presents the vision of Barcelona by Ildefonso Cerda in reference to political and spatial contexts.
