EN

Discussion of a selective transfer definition has been presented. Different mechanisms, explaining the selective transfer process are described. It is stated that an identification of the selective transfer phenomena and other copper and its compounds deposition process on rubbing surfaces with wearless friction is inappropriate. An opinion that the selective transfer is non significant phenomena from scientific and practical point of view has been presented.
