Russian Federation troops (former Soviet Army) after withdrawal from airforce bases in Poland reminded behind the vast ecologically degraded areas. The most evident is a contamination of water and soil by petroleum products. Works connected with an estimation of a pollution degree of soil and underground water were done by National Environmental Protection Agency. As result a high degree of water and ground pollution has been stated, and cost of damage has been estimated as well.
