General rules of manual sampling of petroleum products are presented. New standard PN/ISO-3170 is compared to PN-66/C-04000, introduced changes are presented. How important is correct sampling is remarked. Types of products, sampling devices and rules of sampling from different containers and vessels, safety and marking rules, and transport containers with samples are described.
