Relationship between qualitative requirements for gasoline and a new generation of spark ignition engines

Abstrakty
In the paper it is considered how the latest spark-ignition engine constructions impact development of gasoline quality. The influence of sulphur content in gasoline on operation of on-board diagnostic systems OBD-II is described. At the end of the article the new approaches for gasoline quality, aiming to decreasing of exhaust emissions of contemporary spark ignition engines are presented.
