Results of investigations are presented of Digital Selective Calling (DSC) system applied to alerting within Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS). The performed tests which have made it possible to determine correlation between time of the day, season of the year, mode of transmission, frequency of operation, and transmission error occurence are described.

Przedstawiono rezultaty badań cyfrowego systemu selektywnego wywołania stosowanego do alarmowania w Światowym Morskim Systemie Łączności Alarmowej i Bezpieczeństwa - GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System). Opisano przeprowadzone testy, które pozwoliły na określenie korelacji między porą doby, pora roku, rodzajem transmisji i częstotliwości pracy a występowaniem błędów w transmisji.
