W artykule przedstawiono podstawy prawne dla opracowania i wdrożenia kontroli i zarządczej w szkole wyższej jako jednostce sektora finansów publicznych, Omówiono poszczególne standardy kontroli zarządczej podane w komunikacie Ministra Finansów. Przedstawiono sposób przygotowania i wdrożenia systemu kontroli zarządczej na Politechnice Śląskiej oraz sposób realizacji standardów kontroli zarządczej. Wskazano na te elementy systemu kontroli zarządczej, które nie były dotychczas obecne w systemie zarządzania na Politechnice Śląskiej. Pełne wdrożenie i upowszechnienie w uczelni całego systemu kontroli zarządczej nastąpi w I połowie 2012 roku.

The article presents the legal basis for the working out and implementation of management control at the university as a unit of the public finance sector. The author discusses different standards of management control given in the Communication of the Minister of Finance. The way of preparing and implementing the management control at the Silesian University of Technology and management control standards were presented. Elements of management control system, previously not implemented in the system at the Silesian University of Technology, were indicated. The complete implementation and dissemination of the management control system at the university will take place in the first half of 2012.

• 3. The complete implementation and dissemination of all elements of the management control system at the Silesian University of Technology will take place in the first half of 2012.
