W artykule przedstawiono specyficzne właściwości nanocząstek oraz omówiono wyniki prac „Zespołu Obywatelskiego", obradującego nad tematem nanotechnologii. Zwrócono także uwagę na potrzebę znakowania kosmetyków „nanoznakiem" oraz scharakteryzowano, powszechnie występujące na opakowaniach środków kosmetycznych symbole.

n this work specific properties of cosmetic products containing nanoparticles were presented and results of a work of Citizens Panel on nanotechnology were discussed. In this work the need to label cosmetics with a „nano sign" were also considered and popular symbols on cosmetic containers were characterized.
