Przedstawione zostały wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na terenie trzynastu wnętrz o przeznaczeniu rekreacyjnym znajdujących się na obszarze zespołu mieszkaniowego położonego w obrębie osiedla Szczepin we Wrocławiu. Celem przeprowadzonych badań było określenie, co stanowi podstawowe kryterium wyboru miejsc rekreacji dzieci w różnym wieku na osiedlu wielorodzinnym typu "blokowisko" o przeciętnym standardzie wyposażenia w urządzenia do gier i zabaw. Badania obejmowały obserwacje zachowań dzieci w różnym wieku w poszczególnych przestrzeniach. Analizy wyników badań prowadziły do wniosków dotyczących wpływu fizycznych cech środowiska na zachowania rekreacyjne dzieci na osiedlu wielorodzinnym.

The results of the study carried out in thirteen recreational open spaces in an area of residential complex located within the Szczepin housing development in Wrocław are presented. The purpose of the study was to determine the basic criterion of recreational space choice for various aged children in a multi-family high-rise-type housing development with average-standard equipment for games and play. The study included various-aged children behaviour observations in particular spaces. An analysis of the study results has lead to the conclusions concerning the effects of physical environment features on the children recreational behaviours in the multi-family housing development.
