Abstrakty
The mechanical problems of the mass continuum, such as static analysis, modal analysis etc., transformed into discrete task using finite element method, bring the specific problem, if the subject is large structure with many degrees of freedom. The problem is deficiency of the memory and computing time, it can be solved via stronger hardware (larger memory, faster processor), but there are ways directly in the solving method. The paper will describe solving the large structures via decomposition into substructures. Two ways of such decomposition will be presented and experiences with both will be discussed.
