The magnetic anomaly field over Poland and adjacent regions by using Magsat satellite data
On the basis of Magsat satellite data processing for the region of Poland and adjacent area, magnetic anomaly maps have been prepared. A series of magnetic anomalies confirming magnetic heterogeneity of this territory is extracted. The T-T zone, representing the major break in tectonic structure of this region, is isolated eyen with satellite altitudes. A model of the magnetic anomaly field using spherical cap harmonic analysis has been produced. The anomaly satellite fields for Poland were compared with other ground geophysical parameters: tectonic structure, heat flow, Moho depth, gravity. Such a comparison allows us to draw the conclusion that the magnetization to N-E from the T-T zone is higher than that in SW part of Poland.
